Creating a Stunning Lake Malawi Cichlid Hardscape
At Filial Aquatics, we recently completed an extraordinary project for a client in Melur, Madurai District. The centerpiece of this project is a 4x2x2 ft aquarium, meticulously crafted from 12mm polished glass with zero silicon pasting, ensuring a sleek and flawless finish. Video Link here:- Youtube
The tank is illuminated by the powerful Neo Helios XP 1200 LEDs, enhancing the vibrant colors of the Lake Malawi cichlids. We chose the SUNSUN HW3000 filter for its superior filtration capabilities, ensuring pristine water quality for the cichlids. The substrate consists of Neil sand, providing a natural and aesthetically pleasing base.
A symmetrical aquascaping design was employed, using carefully selected hole rocks to mimic the natural habitat of the cichlids. This design not only offers visual appeal but also provides essential hiding spots and territories for the fish, promoting their well-being.
The aquarium is complemented by a custom-built cabinet, designed by the client, which adds a touch of elegance and functionality to the setup. This project exemplifies our commitment to combining artistry with practicality, creating a stunning and harmonious underwater environment that delights both our clients and their aquatic inhabitants.
